Mónica H. Pérez-Temprano graduated in Chemistry from the Universidad de Valladolid in 2005. In 2011 she obtained her PhD at the Institute CINQUIMA (Universidad de Valladolid), where she worked under the supervision of Prof. Pablo Espinet and Prof. Juan A. Casares on experimental approaches to reaction mechanisms of Pd-catalyzed processes. During 2009, she joined the laboratory of Prof. Lutz Gade at the University of Heidelberg as a PhD visiting student. After her PhD she moved to the University of Michigan to work with Prof. Melanie S. Sanford on the synthesis and reactivity of high-valent organopalladium complexes.
